PRESENT LIST

Since this will be ridiculously long otherwise, I'm just going to list the items Mondo likes the most and least.

    LOVES
  • 009: Turbo Cup Ramen. Instant noodles that are edible three seconds after pouring boiling water in. However, they get soggy 30 seconds later.
  • 027: Roller Slippers. Slippers with wheels in the heels. They were invented so that one could move around comfortably in their own home, even though nobody ever asked for such a thing.
  • 032: Brand-New Sarashi. Cotton cloth that was worn as undergarments and bandages in the old days. Wrapping this around yourself will tense your body and soul.
  • 041: Super Chinchilla Upholstery. A furry seat cover that shines a violent shade of red. Its refinement is as appropriate as possible.

    LIKES
  • 003: Luwak Coffee. Made from coffee beans taken from the feces of the Indian Civet. It has a unique fragrance, and is one of the most rare and expensive in the world.
  • 017: Eternal Friendship Bracelet. A handmade bracelet made by weaving several threads together. They say that if you create one once, you can never cut it again.
  • 020: Hope's Peak Ring. A school ring carved with the crest of Hope’s Peak Academy. It is a symbol of the friendship of those who have shared their youth together.
  • 023: War God Talisman. A charm with the letters of Kashima-Daimyoujin, a god of military arts, written on it.
  • 028: Red Scarf. A scarf worn by a masked hero. It’s pretty scraggly since it’s been through a lot of fights.
  • 033: Yasu Shishido T-Shirt. A T-Shirt printed with an image of legendary Japanese punk rocker, “Yasu Shishido”. Only 100 were ever made.
  • 047: Cherry Blossom Bouquet. A bouquet of cherry tree branches. In the language of flowers, cherry blossoms mean “an exquisite beauty”.
  • 050: Muramasa. The ultimate weapon handed down throughout the world, with which one can enter dungeons, warp through walls and reduce everything to ash. But it’s from a different world so there’s no meaning to the thing.
  • 067: Portable Gaming System. A portable gaming system that’s a huge hit. It also includes a music player and a movie playback system.

    HATES
  • 005: Salt. A basic seasoning mostly taken from seawater. Has various uses, such as flavoring or preserving food.
  • 015: Bird Rice. If you sprinkle this rice on the ground, it’ll attract a bunch of birds and it’ll be a disaster. You can eat it by yourself too.
  • 016: Kitty Hairpin. A hairpin with a kitten design on it. With just this one little point, it makes girls shine.
  • 029: Leaf Fundoshi. A fundoshi which emphasizes one’s manliness. Its design is simple, with a single leaf drawn on white cloth.
  • 030: Torcat Drawers. New pant-style undergarments from the gothic lolita fashion brand “Wonder Dungeon”.
  • 031: White Rabbit Earmuffs. A popular item from the gothic lolita fashion brand “Inabauer”.
  • 034: Overlord T-Back. Underwear that can only be worn by those who can lord over buttocks. They’re unisex.

  • 043: Treasured Reaction Comedy Compilation. A DVD of nothing but reaction comedy sketches.
  • 044: Tumbleweed. A pile of grass often seen in Western films. If this stuff starts to pile up against the door to your house, toss it down a hill in the backyard.
  • 045: Endless Dandelion. A toy dandelion. It’s fun to blo~w the seeds away. The flying seeds have a thin thread still connecting them, so you can wind them back up and have as much fun as you want.
  • 055: Silent-Caller Phone. A mysterious telephone where you can’t hear the voice of the person on the other end of the line. The other person can’t hear what you’re saying, either.
  • 066: Millennium Prize Problems. Seven mathematics problems issued by the Clay Mathematics Institute in America. The prize money for solving even one of them is a million dollars.
  • 072: Vibrating Kokeshi. A round-headed kokeshi doll that begins to vibrate uncontrollably when you press the switch on the bottom. It looks sort of like a children’s toy, but who knows how you’re supposed to use the thing.

  • 074: Someone's Graduation Album. A Hope’s Peak Academy graduation album that someone left lying around. Nobody wrote any signatures in it.
  • 075: Vise. A tool to tightly clamp objects such as iron in place for processing. Even just the name gives a sense of overwhelming power.
  • 076: Tamagushi. A sakaki branch used in Shinto rituals. It’s used as an offering to connect God and humanity.
  • 089: Green Mascot Costume. A costume that makes one want to challenge various things just by wearing it. Looks like a dinosaur.
  • 090: Red Mascot Costume. A costume that makes one want to help out in a supporting role just by wearing it. Looks like a yeti.
