Ryder was a nasty little Scraggy who enjoyed tormenting Mondo and his other Pokémon and making their lives hell. She's still the same way now that she's evolved, only she's more dangerous. She's good on the battlefield, but putting up with her outside of battle is more than a little difficult.

Blake is cautious around new people, but once he warms up to them he's an overly-affectionate puppy who just wants to love on everyone. Now that he's evolved he's a bit more reserved, but he still does love getting pets.

Pierce is very curious about the world and tends to get himself into more trouble than he's worth. Mondo tends to treat him like a younger brother rather than a Pokémon. Now that Pierce has evolved, Mondo can spar with him. They're training buddies.

He attacked Mondo in order to try to get his coin case, but was eventually captured. Keaton thrives on attention, be it positive or negative, and aims to be the very best there ever was. Or at least the very fastest there ever was.

Jax is no exception. He's a friendly, outgoing dog who seems to perpetually be a puppy no matter how many levels he gains. Mondo is very fond of playing with him, which often includes "rolling on the floor like an idiot."

She's a fierce little warrior who is constantly getting herself beaten up, but she doesn't care. She'll take on the world if she has to!!

He's constantly flirting with the ladybirds and trying to pick up chicks (pun not intended), but he's pretty bad at it. When he's not flirting he's being a prehistoric terror and attacking pretty much everything. Unsurprisingly, he gets along great with Tory.

She refuses to train against Pokémon that are vastly weaker than she is, but she will gladly take on opponents much stronger than herself. She believes in fair play in everything and dislikes anyone that fights dirty. Unsurprisingly, she likes Ishimaru better than her own trainer.

He might not be very strong, but he's quick on his feet and the majority of Mondo's Pokémon like him (except Ryder, but she doesn't like anyone).

MEL #135 - JOLTEON ♂ Electric | Volt Absorb | Level 1 Naughty | Thoroughly cunning Helping Hand | Tail Whip | Tackle | Growl | Quick Attack | Bite | Sand-Attack | Headbutt | Toxic Mel is very driven to succeed and puts a lot of pressure on himself. He doesn't seem to get that Mondo will love him no matter how well he does in battle and is always striving to do better than the other Pokémon.

SKATE #472 - GLISCOR ♂ Ground / Flying | Sand Veil | Level 15 Naughty | Thoroughly cunning Night Slash | Quick Attack | Agility | Wing Attack | Fury Cutter | Slash | Razor Wind | Double Team | X-Scissor | Swords Dance | Feint Skate is a naughty Pokémon who lives to torment his trainer. He doesn't do it out of spite like Ryder does, but rather out of some sort of misguided affection. He's very friendly and pleasant to just about everyone else, but if he's not pulling a prank on Mondo (or trying to lop his hair off), then clearly something is wrong.

No, seriously. He will happily talk to any Pokémon about how horrible his life has been, but he will persevere! He doesn't really care one way or another about his trainer; he's more wrapped up in his own drama.

Mondo thinks he's shy, so he is constantly trying to get Kensey to interact with the others. Kensey's really just an introvert and kind of annoyed at his trainer's attempts to get him to socialize.
