► KIYOTAKA ISHIMARU Mondo's "brother" and best friend in Hope's Peak, Ishimaru is just as loud and obnoxious as Mondo himself. Ishimaru and Mondo originally didn't get along, but after a battle in the sauna, they found common ground and started calling each other "kyoudai." Mondo is very fond of Ishimaru and wants to keep this brother alive. They had an argument that involved Mondo tackling Ishimaru to the ground and threatening to beat his face in. It was sometime after this that Ishimaru revealed that Mondo had killed Fujisaki, which he's still grappling with.

► MAKOTO NAEGI One of Mondo's classmates from Hope's Peak, Naegi is Super High School Level Good Luck. He's a good friend, despite Mondo punching him out their first day together in school... Naegi seems to be taking their lost years of memories really hard, so Mondo's attempting to help out. "Attempting" being the key word here.

► CHIHIRO FUJISAKI Another of Mondo's classmates, Fujisaki is the Super High School Level Programmer. Originally Mondo thought Fujisaki was a girl, but Fujisaki revealed the truth and while it's made Mondo question just how strong he really is, he doesn't find Fujisaki weak for it. He's very impressed with Fujisaki and has become pretty good friends with him, despite what happened in the school. He's still very sorry about that, by the way.

► AOI ASAHINA The Super High School Level Swimmer, Asahina is one of Mondo's classmates. She's very energetic and bubbly and Mondo is quite fond of her. They didn't know each other very well while they were in school, but here they've clicked right off the bat.

► "ALICE WHITE" Alice is female Ishimaru. There is nothing that will get Mondo to change his mind about this. She isn't the best socially, but he gets along with her quite well. There are some things about her that confuse him greatly, but for the most part she's a great friend and someone he really enjoys spending time with. Kind of like Ishimaru, except with less emphasis on the rules. Thank god.

► RUDE Rude is pretty awesome for an adult. He's sparred with Mondo on a couple of occasions and they worked together during the raid on the Pewter City Museum. Mondo looks up to Rude in a way he normally reserves for... well, Daiya and that's about it. He's not sure how to classify Rude, other than as possibly some kind of cool but aloof uncle-figure.

► MAKA ALBARN Mondo and Maka met after Mondo asked the network for help regarding a certain teething baby dragon. Maka had quite a lot of information to share and Mondo's quite fond of her. She's been nothing but helpful and she's very easy to talk to!

► LANCER (CU CHULAINN) Another person Mondo met after asking the network for advice, Lancer is just as passionate as Mondo is, and his laid-back attitude is certainly refreshing.

► ILYASVIEL VON EINZBERN Ilyasviel knows how to play Mondo like a... well, whatever instrument she's good at playing. She can string him along easily and tick him off without batting an eyelash. She's very skilled like that, which Mondo doesn't like, but she's also offered him quite a bit of information that's been very beneficial in training his Pokémon. He's not quite sure what to think of her.

► JIN Jin is apparently a demon and the master of the wind or something like that. Mondo doesn't pretend to have any idea what Jin's talking about when he says that, but despite that they get along quite well.

► CARTER BLAKE Blake is everything Mondo hates about authority figures. He's constantly telling Mondo that he's going to get in trouble or going to get killed or something along those lines, and Mondo finds is really annoying. He can kind of see where Blake is just trying to look out for him, but Blake is pretty good at mashing all of Mondo's rage buttons.
